Submitted by Merrickville – Wolford Communities in Bloom Committee.

Our Garden of the Month judges Bob, Clayton, and Robyn, toured the four nominated gardens for the month of June in Merrickville- Wolford. The trio judged Merrickville-Wolford gardens based on Colour and Balance, Curb Appeal and Distribution and Design.

Of the four nominated, Sue and David Westerman’s garden at 112 Collar Hill was the winner. Sue and David’s garden always has a new feature, whether it be a new garage sale find, or a new plant, there is always something to catch your eye. It is quite apparent that Sue and David take great pride in their yard. The grass is golf green, the trees and shrubs well pruned and the design and balance of the plants and features complement the yard. The garden also takes full advantage of the corner lot location. Congratulations Sue and David!

You can nominate yourself or a neighbour’s garden by going to our website: www.merrickvillecib.com under the garden of the month section. Nominations for July close on June 30.
