The Classic Theatre Festival’s 10th anniversary summer season is off to a sizzling start, with three shows on the go inside their air conditioned mainstage space at 54 Beckwith Street East in Perth (The Voice of the Turtle, a hit WW2-era comedy), at Michael’s Table Restaurant (site of their lunchtime/dinner theatre production, the Roman empire comedy Androcles and the Lion, 110 Gore Street East), and Matheson House Museum (11 Gore Street East), where the historic walking play, The Forgotten Ones, a story of Perth during the Great Depression, plays 7 times a week.
