Here is yet another reason why living in Kemptville is so great.
There are many among us that demonstrate their commitment to their community. The residents of Forest Creek have gone above and beyond the call of duty. As part of the week long Pitch In program, about 20 residents of Forest Creek came out to help with the clean up. The day started cold and grey and got steadily worse as the work began. The cold rain turned to hail at one point, but it didn’t dampen the spirit of this dedicated group.
Litter, largely from fast food outlets in the Colonnade Mall and nearby construction, accounted for most of the volume. Please remember, someone will have to pick up the wrappers and drink containers that you throw out your window.
