The Kemptville Black Sox men’s fastpitch team finished their first season in the Greater Ottawa League with three wins, two losses and two ties. The team, sponsored by Shoeless Joe’s, played its first home game on May 23, 2018 at Riverside Park.

The Kemptville Black Sox will be transitioning to full time status in the Greater Ottawa League for the 2019 season, and will be participating in the Jim Bradford Tournament in Coburg and the Gil Read Tournament in Carp. Home games will continue to be played at Riverside Park on Wednesday evenings.

“I am very pleased with how the affiliated season turned out, and we are already making plans on how to improve next season,” says team organizer, Hugh Murray.
