Ogilvie’s Auto and Fleet Service in Kilmarnock is now the first dealer in Canada to be selling Black Mountain Jeep accessories and parts. Vicki Ogilvie says they learned about the brand through watching the TV show, Garage Rehab. Black Mountain Jeep is often featured on the show, and they mentioned they were looking for dealers to sell their parts.

After flying to Dallas, Texas, to meet with Dennis Collins and Chris Smith from Black Mountain Jeep, they all decided that Ogilvie’s Auto would be the perfect location for their first Canadian outlet.

On Saturday, May 11, Ogilvie’s held the Grand Opening of their Black Mountain Jeep line. Dennis and Chris flew in for the event and were on hand to sign autographs and answer questions about their custom Jeep products. Ogilvie’s Auto now has a section in their garage dedicated to Black Mountain Jeep, and they sell and install all types of Jeep accessories, such as hoods, bumpers, wheels and lift kits. Vicki says it is also very handy that all Black Mountain Jeep parts fit Jeep JK models from 2007 all the way to 2018. “It’s easier to stock and have all the parts available,” she says.

Ogilvie’s Auto has partnered with Town & Country Chrysler in Smiths Falls, so that anyone who buys a Jeep from that location can have it customized at their garage. Financing is also available through Town & Country Chrysler.

Vicki says they had around 30 Jeeps come and check out the new products at their Grand Opening on Saturday. She and Mike are excited about this new venture, because it is something they haven’t done before. They didn’t know much about Jeeps, but are now finding that there are lots of “Jeep people” out there who will appreciated having a Black Mountain Jeep dealer close to home.

Dennis Collins says they are thrilled to have a Black Mountain Jeep dealer in Canada. “It’s very exciting and [Ogilvie’s] is a perfect fit for our brand.”
